I first walked into Snap wondering how ‘real’ it was. I had just started working out, but at 50 years old and overweight, I needed to get the ‘nutrition’ thing figured out. I started with the 21 day Snap Commit Program. Now, 13 months later and nearly 80 pounds lighter, I’m the ‘after picture.’ I feel great, have a significantly more active lifestyle and an improved overall sense of well-being.
It all began with an initial consultation from Andrea, the registered dietician on-site, who informed me on proper nutrition, correct portion sizes, and its role in an effective exercise regimen. She also created a customized meal plan to fit my crazy work schedule and incorporated foods I would actually enjoy. The program could not have been more convenient, or tasty. I would come by every three days and my next few days worth of meals would be delivered to me curbside; I was in and out in five minutes. Each day consisted of three meals and two snacks with a variety of unique, fresh and healthful ingredients that kept me satisfied throughout the day.
With Snap, it never felt like I was on a diet. In fact, today I am still maintaining my weight, actually look forward to my daily workouts and enjoy at least one Snap Kitchen meal a day.
